Question

Daughter had a campus job that did not pull social security or Medicare taxes. As I understand it, these are "student exempt wages", how do I note that in the W-2?

I need to note that this is a campus job so the wages are not taxed, can't figure out how in TT.

There is nothing to note.

If the student was exempt, the income would not be subject to FICA (Social Security Tax) and therefore Box 3, 4 5 and 6 on their W-2 should be blank (zero) .

The income is not exempt from income tax.

Unless there is an amount in Box 3 and FICA tax was withheld, there are no adjustments to be made.
