Credit card not charged

I paid my tax by credit card. It got accepted after a few submissions. I saw the pending charge on my credit card. Then pending charge disappeared. I called Navy Federal and asked them about it, they said it is still pending??

Payments made with a credit card are done through a third-party payment processor. Please see the section titled "How do I use my debit or credit card to pay taxes?" in this link for more information.

I would also recommend checking your online account with the IRS to confirm whether the payment was applied to your account correctly. The IRS would be the only agency able to assist at this point.
