Cousin Who Lives We Us and Helps Out on Expenses
My 70-year old cousin has moved in with us. He had no other place to live and he had sufficient social security monthly income and his wife's pension left to him as the beneficiary. He is diabetic and was incarcerated for 44 years, so he simply could not live on his own. If he gives money monthly towards all his expenses, paying for all the food for our family and the electric bill? Do I have to report that money as income on my tax return?
