COBRA Insurance Premium

I lost my husband last year and since I was covered under his health insurance, I was automatically transferred to COBRA. Can I deduct COBRA Insurance Premium? If yes, how to do it? I normally use standard deduction.

Your premium payments are deductible as a medical expense on your tax return but only if you itemize deductions. When you get to the deductions section for TurboTax you'll be able to enter the premium payments and TurboTax will decide which way - standard or itemized - will work out best for you. The premium payments probably won't change anything but it's only a couple extra minutes in order to double check.
