Casual ebay seller looking to turn it into a sole proprietor small business

  • A bit more than casual ebay seller in New York, reporting that income for the first time on taxes and looking to turn into a sole proprietor small business.  How do I report this year’s sales / can I deduct anything?  Looking ahead what do I need to put in place for the transition into a sole proprietor small business.
