Cannot submit as it says we sold property but we did not

Hello,

I cannot submit my parent's tax return as on my Dad's it says 'he sold property' I've gone over his return three times and do not see where he has said he sold property. In the Easy Step it's clearly marked NO.

I need help ASAP! I can't print and mail as it's too many pages for my small printer.

Since you are using the downloaded program switch to the FORMS mode and look for the form with the red ! by it on the list on the left ... this will take you to where there is an error that needs fixing.

There is no form with a ! next to it in the list

Look at the Sch D and the 8849 ... do you have an entry that is incomplete ?

And where you marked NO you may need to go back and say YES to open that section of the interview and delete the unneeded section you started by accident ... just changing to NO will not delete the unfinished section.
