Cannot download 2019 Amend CD/Download??

Hey all,

So I tried downloading the 2019 Turbo Tax Amend yo fix my taxes but it keeps acting funny and bringing me to a "This site can’t be reached

nexus.intuit.net’s server IP address could not be found." Am I the only one having this issue?

Form 1040X is the form you will need to complete an amended return for 2019.

However, check the Federal Forms Availability List before you try again.

The approximate date Form 1040X will be ready is 2/12/2020

Yes It says 2/12/2020 for 1040X. Since I did mines online, would it effect it due to it says "Unsupported" for EFile? @KathrynG3

Since you cannot efile an amended return, the "Unsupported" for the 1040X does not apply- however, if any of the other forms you need are still pending, make sure they are ready before you file in a few weeks.

You only need to download the program if it is for a prior year. Since you are amending the current year, you can amend 2019 tax return on TurboTax Online.

how do you undo an amended state in the tubotax amend online version??? i am being charged to amend state!

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.

I believe that I have some deductions that were not used on my 2019 1040 returns. (Prepared by local CPA that is no longer available) Purchased turbo tax home & business to amend 2019 filing. I have all of the forms and schedules, worksheet/etc but am having difficulty inserting the income data to match the original filing. Is there a way of taking the numbers from the original forms l(paper copies) and plugging them into turbotax? I do not wish to change the income, but add additional deductions from investment

You can enter directly on the forms using the FORMS mode. Click on Forms in the upper right. You may have to drill down to the underlying worksheet to find the place to enter something. First you need to recreate the original return. Then when it matches each line on the original return, say you want to file it by mail so Turbo Tax thinks it was filed. Then you can amend it.
