Candaian Pension??? Known Bug for MONTHS

As others before me, I am having the Canadian Registered Pension Income pop up under Retirement Plans and Social Security. Yes, I have tried using the trash can, not hitting continue, but navigating to a different section using the headers above the forms. No, it does not help. I have seen this "trick" repeated ad nauseum but have tried the "trick" at least a dozen times and no matter what, the Canadian Registered Pension Income never goes away.

I have to clear this as my partner has a security clearance and cannot be flagged as having out of US income. Has anyone found different solutions?

And shame on TurboTax for letting such bugs continue for months. They lobby to make sure we cannot do our taxes from home without them but then give us buggy products.

We were advised that in some cases this situation could have been created if you imported a 1099-R from your financial institution. If this applies to you, we recommend that you delete that 1099-R and re-enter it manually.

If you are in TurboTax Online, follow these instructions to delete the 1099-R if one was created.

If you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax, follow these instructions.

If you are still experiencing this issue after trying these suggestions, see this help article for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
