Can you assist me with my 1099 misc I worked for a company that didn't take taxes out of my check

    If you worked for a business and received a Form 1099-MISC reporting your income as non-employee compensation, then you are being treated as an independent contractor and not an employee.

    In the eyes of the IRS, you own your own business providing your services as an independent contractor and you will report your income and expenses on Schedule C.
