Can my mom claim me as a dependent?
I am 22 and single. I live on my own and I go to college full-time. I am also under my own support. Could there still be a reason she had to claim me?
Not if you support yourself. That is one of the main tests for the dependent exemption is that she must provide more than 50% of your support.
