Can I use federal tax credits and/or deductions carried over from 2018 taxes that were not used on my 2019 return? I did not realize I had them to use last year.

2019 was the first time I used Turbotax. Before that I used a CPA. So I didn't look at his notes from the year before to see the carry-over to 2019 return. I just wonder if I can still claim them on 2020's return.

No, You would have to amend your 2019 return and if there any carry forwards left over from 2019 you can take them in 2020.
