Not quite sure what you are asking.  "Divorced" is not a filing status.  If you were divorced by the end of 2019 then yes you can file as Single.  (or if you have the children you may be able to file as Head of Household).

How did you file for 2015-2018?  You should have filed Single or  Head of Household if you have a dependent.
