If you requested a 6 digit IP PIN from the IRS it would have been mailed to you in January 2024 for the 2023 return.

Go to this IRS website for how to retrieve the IP PIN - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin

And if you have a 6-digit IP:

If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file.  Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
