    No.   Travel is not a qualified education expense.  Sorry, airfare to study abroad is not deductible.

    No, that is NOT considered an education expense.

    Can I deduct ANY expenses or fees that I have paid directly to the overseas university for her study abroad program? They do not have a US tax ID.
