TurboTax closed efile in October.  You need to print and file your federal and state returns now.

You received an email that told you why the return was rejected.  The email had a rejection message or a rejection code.  We cannot see your email, so we do not know why your return was rejected.  However, e-filing is permanently closed for 2022 returns, so the only way you can file your 2022 return now is by mail.  You need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail the returns in separate envelopes to the IRS and state.   (Most rejections are for AGI;  AGI does not matter at all now since you only needed AGI to e-file)

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
