Question

Anyone having issue running TurboTax 2024? Will not launch when attempting to access to prepare amended return. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling already. Solutions?

Uninstalled/reinstalled using download from Intuit. Tried running as administrator. Nothing works so far and Intuit ChatBot has no clue.

Where does it get stuck? You got the program reinstalled ok? Does it let you start a new return? Go up to File-New.

Do you get an error code or message? It might be this,

After you get the program installed or reinstalled the first thing to do before you open your tax return is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to File-New Tax Return).

Then go to FILE -Open and find your return.
