W-2 Confusion

Hello,

I received a W-2 in 2021 for work that I did in 2019. According to the payroll company that W-2 reflects a job that I did in late December of 2019. The paycheck for this job was sent out on January 6, 2020, even though the work was physically done between Dec 18th to Dec 20th of 2019. Will I get in trouble for filing the W-2 for the year 2020 even though the work was done in Dec of 2019. Also, the W-2 form itself is really sparse. It doesn't contain a line D (or box D) for a Control Number even though TurboTax is asking for it.
