Taxes can be owed if the total of your tax payments is less than your tax liabilities.

Look at your tax return and see why the tax return shows taxes owed.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
