Capital Gain (Loss) Transaction Worksheet

I have been trying to e-file my 2018 tax return on Turbo Tax, but keep getting stuck on this section when the pre-filing review is taking place. Specifically, Part III line 4 (date of disposition). I do not know why I am even being asked this, because this question is not even relevant to me. I have not disposed of any stocks, I do not even own any US stocks.

How can I amend my tax return so that I do not keep getting asked to complete this question, so that I can just file my tax return?

This (phantom) disposition could relate to any asset, not just stocks (e.g., bonds, second home, collectibles, land, personal items).

If you are using a desktop version of TurboTax, enter Forms Mode and check the actual worksheet itself. If you are using an online version, go through Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other in the Investment Income section and ensure that there are no entries.
