Advanced Child Tax Credit

I filed my 2020 taxes in the beginning of the year, I’ve already received my refund. I have three dependents and was looking forward to the advanced child tax payments, however the portable shows that I’m not eligible. Why could that be?

We do not know why the portal is saying you are not eligible.   There may be bugs in the IRS portals at this point since they had to throw it all together so fast after Congress changed the tax laws in the middle of the tax season.
