You can get to your W-2 section of TurboTax using the steps listed below.   If you are using TurboTax Online you can:   Go to "Wages & Income"  Under "Your Income" you should see your W-2 listed. Select "Add/Edit" to make changes. Or you can: Click on "Search" at the top right of your TurboTax screen. Type "Form W-2" in the search bar Click on the link "Jump to Form W-2 section of TurboTax". Select "Edit" next to your Form W-2. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:   Type "Form W-2" in the search bar at the top right of your TurboTax screen. Click on the link "Jump to Form W-2" This will take you to your "Wages & Income" section of TurboTax where you entered your Form W-2. Select "Edit" next to your Form W-2.   If you have additional questions regarding this, please return to TurboTax Community. We would be happy to help you.

I used TurboTax desktop software and filed my 2024 federal and state (CA) tax returns. I'm trying to amend my 2024 federal and state tax returns. When I finish and come to the filing page, the software says that I can only mail in my federal return, while I can e-file my state return. On the following screen, it says that the e-filing window is closed. On the next screen, the software provides two options: e-file and mail. Can I e-file the tax amend for 2024 after the e-file window for 2025 is open?
Has your federal return been Accepted?  You can't file state until federal is accepted.

If it's a TurboTax employee, it would indicate something when providing the user's ID If you want answers only from support, you will need to contact them. They will never call you. Not available with the free edition   5am-5pm Pacific Time (8-8 Eastern) Monday - Friday https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact 800-446-8848   Partners that provide user import must format the data according to TurboTax specifications. One little error and the import fails. You could also call the institution to report the issue.   this Issue could also be attributed to your browser, firewall, and or antivirus.   I sort of doubt it's a software bug, because that would affect all users, so there would be hundreds, if not thousands of complaints.  There is no way to know for sure what causes your issue.

If your e-file is rejected you will be able to change the direct deposit information when you correct the reason for the reject, before you resubmit the tax return.

No. You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.

If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.
