Credit limit increase or new card

If I was to ask for a credit limit increase on my bealls card would that be a good thing for me to do also would it be a good thing for me to get another credit card to maybe improve my amount of credit. Wanting to buy house in near future and I’m trying to improve my credit score

Credit cards

Requesting a limit increase will lower your credit score slightly, but only temporarily.

 

Provided you do not start running up new charges, your credit utilization rate will decrease and your credit score should improve as a result.
