Reporting RMD
I am filing 2016 tax return. What form do I use to report RMD amount required on annuity if no funds were disbursed from the annuity account? (It should be noted that this RMD amount was satisfied with disbursements from other retirement accounts, but I need to account for amount of annuity RMD .)
Thx!

Retirement tax questions
An annuity does not require an RMD. Only IRAs and 401-K type plans require RMDs because they have a cash value.
You would normally get a 1099-R for any distributions you receive. If you did not get a distribution from that account, there is nothing to report.
