social security
I began collecting social security in October as I was not eligible until then. After beginning to collect it, I have kept my income under the maximum allowed by SSA. Is the taxability of my SSA benefits determined by looking at my income for the entire year of just the income earned during the time I was receiving benefits?

Retirement tax questions
It is based on your income for the entire year, not just the portion of the year that you received Social Security benefits.
