Retirement tax questions
Line 32 of what? Is this for a prior year? 401K contributions should not show up on your return at all. Schedule 1 line 32 is only for IRA. You do not enter 401K under Deductions & Credits as a contribution. Only enter 401K from your W2, nowhere else. It is a pretax item and has already been deducted from the wages in box 1 so you can't deduct them again.
