Why is my taxable income $253,650 on my retirement income of $74,370? This seems so high?

Retirement tax questions
That is very high.
First, go and look at your 1040 to see if you've mis-entered anything.
To do that:
1. Go to Tax Tools on the left-hand side.
2. Go to Tools.
3. Go to View Tax Summary.
4. Click Preview my 1040 from the left-hand side.
If that's not the problem, try deleting all your entries and starting over again.
If you still have a problem, post back to this thread.
