How do I know if the RMD is being met ? I get monthly payments from FRS benefits, Florida ?

If you get monthly payments for your pension, then all payments are considered as RMDs. And you can answer that the RMD has been met.

Retirement tax questions
If you are 70 1/2 or older it will ask if you took the RMD. Say yes for pensions. Anything your pension pays you is considered to be the full RMD.
