Can you skip Roth IRA contributions within Deductions & Credits in TurboTax Deluxe?
If you don't have to report Roth IRA contributions, why does TurboTax ask this question within Deductions & Credits in TurboTax Deluxe, and why when inputted, does it increase my Federal Tax Due amount? Should I just say no, None of the Above?

Retirement tax questions
Yes you should enter any ROTH Contributions. It may qualify you for the retirement savers credit. And Turbo Tax needs to check if you were qualified to make a contribution and if you went over the max allowed.
If it is increasing the tax due you probably got a penalty for not being qualified to make one or you contributed too much and have an excess you have to remove from the ROTH account.
