I used Acorns investing app and have not received my 1099 yet. only made $10.00. Trying not to wait until I get this info to file my taxes
Do I need to wait. Or is the amount low enough to where it doesn't matter. I have not withdrawn any of the money from the account

If you know the amount, you can file without the 1099 for income this low.
I would not suggest filing without a W-2 or a 1099 with significant income and details, but it is okay to just include the amount for this income.

As a new investor, be sure you know what amount is 1099-INT and what amounts would go on 1099-DIV.
To add a 1099-INT: Even if you don't have it. I do recommend seeing if a download is available.
- click on Federal
- click Income & Expenses
- scroll to Interest and dividends
- click on Show More
- click Start for Interest on 1099-INT
- Choose I'll Type it in Myself
- Enter the payer name
- Enter the interest income
- Click continue
