NEVER change positions once established as you have seen it causes problems.  If you used her account last year and everything went thru eventually then  I would NOT recommend switching places again as you will have another bad year for sure. 

And to switch places in the Turbo Tax system requires you to start over in a new account ... you cannot just switch names as that will also cause trouble.
