Would retirement distributions from South Carolina Retirement System be considered qualified government retirement distributions in Massachusetts?

We live in Massachusetts but my wife's retirement is from South Carolina Retirement System (she was an employee of a state university).  The federal portion of TurboTax has a screen regarding Massachusetts handling of these funds and asks if it is a Qualified Government Retirement Distributions, or a Keogh account, or none of the above.  Which of these applies?  She also has received funds for three years from deferred compensation (unused personal days/sick leave) that were put in a 401k account when she retired.  Which of the categories would this apply toward?  By the way, I asked this same question of MA Department of Revenue and the response was "it depends what kind of account it was."
