Retirement tax questions
To get your 1099-G for unemployment, you need to contact the State Unemployment office. If you have a log-in to a website for the State Unemployment office, check that out, your 1099-G may be available from your account online.
There is no tax break for unemployment income during 2021. The full amount of unemployment is taxable.
