Retirement tax questions
A 401(k) account provided by your employer can only be contributed to in the calendar year, January 1 thru December 31. So the 401(k) does not apply for contributing in 2020 for the 2019 tax year.

Retirement tax questions
A 401(k) is not an IRA. Enter amounts shown in box 12 of your W-2 only in box 12 of TurboTax's W-2 form, nowhere else in TurboTax.
