Retirement tax questions
Yes, you can remove the incorrect 1099 in TurboTax. Here is how to delete the Form 1099-R in TurboTax:
- While in your Tax Home,
- Select Search from the top right side of your screen,
- Enter 1099-R,
- Select Jump to 1099-R,
- Select the trash can next to the 1099-R to delete it.

Retirement tax questions
I tried what you recommended, but it did not work. When I jumped to 1099-R, the program took me to the screen that asks whether I had a 1099-R (and other similar 1099s). It was marked yes, and I changed it to no. I tried to go to the form, but it did not work. When I went back to jump to 1099-R, it took me back to the same place, and the answer was marked yes even though I had changed it to no. I never saw a trash can to click on because I think the program did not take me to the screen you thought it would take me to.
Please advise me about what to do.
