We own a rental property and pay homeowners association fees. Because it's a rental with tenants, I know the fees are tax deductible. However, included in the fees are certain utilities (water, sewer, trash). Since we pay the HOA fees for our tenants, do

On your tax return, if you do not live in any portion of this rental home, include the rental income and deduct the full amount of the HOA fees paid.  

The rent being charged each month should be taking this into consideration.
