Entering Investment Income for a Non-Resident State with Rental Property
My husband is active duty military with a resident state of NH, and we were stationed overseas in 2018. We have rental property in GA. I know that we have to file a state tax return for the state of GA to report the rental income, but this file should not include other investment income (stocks, etc), right? This income was not earned in the state of Georgia.

Investors & landlords
Yes, that is correct in the GA return you only report the rental income. Investment income is allocated to the state of legal residence, you will have to report the investment income in NH.
