I am self employed and moved to another state. Which state do I put on my tax return?
I did not owe for 2019 & am finally filing my taxes by mail. I am really confused which address to put for my business, etc.
Especially for the state return, I feel the business should be listed as the state I was conducting business in... but then how will they send me correspondence if needed?

On the return use the address that you would like the taxing authorizes to use to communicate with you should the need arise.

The address you enter in the My Info section under Mailing Address has nothing to do with where you live or conduct business. It's the address you want the IRS to send any correspondence to concerning that tax return, should they have a need to communicate with you about that tax return.
