What's changed this year are the tax forms themselves. This has created a different type of complexity to your return. Schedule 4 contains other taxes such as the self-employment taxes or the early distribution penalty from a pension plan, or even the penalty for not having qualified insurance. If you have any of these situations, your return requires Schedule 4, which is not available in TurboTax Free.
