Part of the 1099-B is a section that shows "Proceeds from Broker Transactions". It is usually towards the back of the form. The sales transactions are listed by category, and have headings that typically say something like: "LONG-TERM TRANSACTIONS FOR WHICH BASIS IS REPORTED TO THE IRS - Report on Form 8949, Part II, with Box D checked."
