you were self-employed in a prior year and the information transferred over to
the current year please see the following TurboTax FAQ on how to delete a prior-year
Schedule C business that transferred over: (note: the FAQ refers to year
2015 and in your case it would be 2016 but otherwise the same information given
applies)

If
you were never in business and you would like to delete Schedule C follow
the steps below:
- Sign into your TurboTax
Online Account
- Select “Continue your
Return”
- Click “My Account”
located on the right side of the blue menu bar at the top of your screen
- Select “Tools”
- The next screen will be the “Tools
Center”
- Under “Other Helpful
Links” choose “Delete a Form”
