Why is my 2017 return showing excess contribution to HSA? I contributed $2830 and I'm allowed to contribut $4400. There was no over-contribution in 2016.

The program has a glitch in the carryover amount from the prior tax year ... when you fill in the current year info this should resolve itself ... and that section of the program will not be operational until the 18th or later so remember to complete all 3 HSA  sections if required ...
