Can I still claim deductions on Form 1040? I donated to a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit in 2017. They sent me a tax receipt but have closed their organization on 1/01/2018. Thanks

Yes. If they had an active exemption status during the time of your donation in 2017, you can claim the contribution.

Yes, you aren't responsible for what happens to the organization as long as they were qualified at the time.
(In most states, when a tax exempt organization closes, it must transfer any remaining assets to another similar exempt organization anyway.)
