Can I claim child care expenses for time I need with my medical specialists?
My husband is partially disabled and unable to work. He takes care of our daughter most of the time, but we do require daycare help from time to time while he is at his medical appointments. Can I claim those daycare expenses?
Sorry, but childcare costs are only deductible to permit you to work. The need for childcare while at medical care just isn't contemplated in the statute.
