Thank you for your advice.
I am assuming that it is best to keep the receipts for each of those expenses, adding up to $18,405, to avoid any IRS follow-ups. Given that many of these receipts will be in the $8 - $15 range, there will be 100s of such receipts to maintain. 🙁
Is it necessary to maintain all of these receipts to reimburse the full amount of $18,405?
Second question:
- given that this year my son will only incur expenses for 3.5 months, does the COA need to get pro-rated?
