On the Utilities page, it mentions Gas as an expense I can write off. Does this mean the amount of money that I spent on Gas throughout the year for driving for Lyft?

Deductions & credits
You can choose to decuct actual costs or standard Mileage. If you choose actual, you can deduct the gas, oil, repairs, etc.... but if you choose standard, you can not deduct the other costs of the vehicle. Read more here:
