I've been told I can no longer deduct business expenses as an employee such as gas used for work, but state returns might still do it. Does anyone know if Florida can?

I was told by someone that due to recent changes, we can no longer claim business expenses such as gas on our returns, but that state returns may still retain this ability. Does anyone know if this is the case for Florida? Can we still claim expenses in Florida? or should I just ditch all these receipts now.

Deductions & credits

Florida does not have a personal income tax, so no, there is no deduction at all for employee business expenses for a person in Florida.
