How do I enter my foreign earned income exemption in turbotax? I work for a US company in Germany so I have a W2 but TurboTax keeps telling me to put in foreign income

I work as a contractor for DoD under a US company. I qualified for the FEIE but when I put in my W2 information it shows I owe a ton in taxes. I followed the guidance I found online to search for foreign earned income and followed the TurboTax wizzard to fill out the 2555 but it keeps telling me to put in the foreign earned income. All of my income is foreign earned I believe as I was paid it while living in Germany.

Even though Turbotax tells you what your W-2 earnings were in the section on foreign earned income, you must also put that amount in the box that asks for how much earnings you would like to claim. I had this same problem for the longest time and finally re-entered the amount and it worked.
