How do I claim the foreign tax credit using TT free edition? IRS TT: Form 1116 isn’t always required. That’s my case. TT wont allow “free” citing F1116. Work around?

foreign tax was reported on 1099-DIV and is below the $300 threshold (single filer). No F1116 is required per turbotax.intuit.com “Foreign tax credit without Form 1116”
