There is a big difference in the property tax paid in 2015 on turbo tax and the amount for 2016. I don't think there should be. 2015 was $7636.71 and 2016 is $1110.00

This may happen if your mortgage was sold to another company, or you refinanced.

In which case, you should get two 1098 forms to show the true total. Maybe it's late or you misplaced it.
