Can I chg status in TurboTax to show an investment property 'sale' was actually a Sec 1031 Exchg? I unchecked the SOLD box but TurboTax still shows Cap Gains taxes due.
You should be able to accomplish that within the Step-by-Step interview, but you should make sure you have eliminated any reference to a sale in all of the screens (and sections that relate to the property).
